Commercial management and contract administration service to support the Engineer in a series of 'roll out' contracts at various locations. In identifying and assessing risks associated with liability, we worked closely with the Engineer to ensure that all parties understood the contractual implications of assessed liability. A rolling analysis of notified delays was achieved by processing time and cost data through P3 programming software allowing us to help manage the levels of deliverable expections as regards project outcome.
Metronet Maintenance Framework
Retained to review the supply chain of the Framework Contract for the provision of maintenance to LUL civils assets. The approach adopted was to first review the historic performance of supplier delivery to establish where management intervention would be most effective. We were able to improve the formality of communication, and implement a work packaging strategy to optimize the timely release of tender information.
Jubilee Line Extension
DGA were commisioned to provide contractual and quantum advice on multiple heads of claim on a single section of the works amounting to an aggregate total of over £60m. On completion of the works, DGA personnel managed the quantum and planning teams tasked to prepare all documentation for a pending concilliation process. Working directly with our clients solicitors, a case for an additional £100m of valued was tabled.
DGA took the lead advisory roles on planning and quantum in the issues eventually taken to arbitration on the contract as a whole.
Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Sections 1&2
Retained to provide commercial, contractual and strategic advice on various CTRL package contracts under the NEC3 Option C (target cost) contract. Providing expert quantum reports associated with delay events and the interrogation of the in-house costing systems, working closely with our clients in-house legal team and their external solicitors.
