DGA and Arbitration

In arbitration, DGA has the appropriately qualified personnel in their individual capacities to take appointments to sit as Arbitrator, and to take instructions from the parties to give Expert Evidence.  Clearly it is a statisitical fact that in the vast majority of disputes brought to arbitration do not proceed to hearing; but the extensive collective knowledge that as a result we have gained of this adversarial process and procedure leaves us ideally placed to offer our services as Case Manager.

Case Management is an arbitration support service designed to take some of the pressures off key business personnel at a time of considerable stress, where otherwise business performance outside of the disputed contract may suffer.

We can provide:

Document Management Systems

Advise on the appointment of advisors and experts

Manage the issue of Notices and preparation of Pleadings

Interview and brief Witness of Fact candidates

Advise on negotiation strategies

Provide Hearing arrangements and logistics.

We can help our clients reach realistic expectations of outcome, and project the costs involved.  We can advise on the level of changing commercial risk to the parties relating to the inevitable unanticipated  'case developments' common of construction disputes.  Arbitration can be a frustrating process, and the aim of effective Case Management is to minimise its wider impact on our client's business.
